The Finnish Music Publishers Association -
who are we and what do we do?

The Finnish Music Publishers Association was founded in 1976 as an umbrella organisation for representing the interests of Finnish music publishers. The Association has 40 publisher members. It is a non-profit-making organisation with no business aims of its own. It is itself a member of both Teosto, the Finnish Composers Copyright Bureau, and Kopiosto, joint copyright organisation for authors and publishers.

The members of the board are as follows:

  • Mr Tom Frisk, Warner/Chappell Music Finland Oy (Chair)
  • Mr Ari Nieminen, Fennica Gehrman Oy (Vice-Chair)
  • Mr Kari Helenius, Jee-Jee Music Oy & Poplandia Music Oy & Gaga Goodies Oy
  • Mr Tapio Korjus, Zen Master Records & Publishing Oy
  • Mr Antti Lehtinen, Universal Music Oy
  • Mr Tommi Tuomainen, Elements Music Oy

Our office in Helsinki is manned by Pekka Sipilä (Mr., Executive Director) and Virpi Forsberg (Ms., Office Secretary).
